Rants and Raves...

Over the ridge, and perhaps,
 over the edge?

Mitchell News-Journal:

     Extra! Extra!

*  "I know I need to lose wait when I go to the doctor and he says:  "Stick out your tongue and say 'oink, oink'!" [Wait? Wait?]

*  "It seems I impress myself more and more each day."

*  "I want to comment on the rant about women mistreating their husbands.  I agree with that.  There are a lot of women who mistreat their husbands and don't respect them.  Then there are women like me who are single."

*  "I don't understand why people drink cows milk; calves grow up and get over it."

*  "Washington does not know what is best for me.  Washington has become an Obamanation!"

And this month's winner of the "I'll-have-to-give-that-some-more-thought, wide-world-of-wonderment" award…

*  "Well, those d@*n jet planes are back, making lines in the sky again, and my goats are hiding in the shed and my chickens ain't laying no eggs."

(Does this have anything to do with drinking cow's milk? Are we sure?)

" I thought you were lactose intolerant?"

"I'm not drinking lactose. I'm drinking milk."

RBC is a good example of the "Year of Regulatory Relief" at NCUA.

And there between the two cities was non other than Gyro Gearloose, dressed in his holiday suit and waiting for his marching orders: what to say, when to say it and when to sit quiet. Ah yes it has been times like we have never seen before and one can only wonder what the new year will bring upon us in this age of wisdom and relief on the NCUA board.
