CUNA needs to CUT. Massive overhead. Massive amount of employees. Massive amount of stupid advertising ideas: Little Man Campaign, Don't Tax My Credit Union, Unite for Good, etc etc etc. Massively wrong positions taken on legislation and regulation: Dodd-Frank, CFPB, bankruptcy reform, interchange, RBC1, RBC2, etc etc etc. Massive senior staff salaries. Massive PAC checks written to our enemies. CUT! CUT! CUT!
Lots of complaints from credit unions big and small but none seem to understand the only way to have any impact is with your checkbook. Put it aside and do not write the renewal check to either one of the associations. Maybe then they will get the message.

Maybe you can hire Bob Siravo to run the new association. He is an expert on taking big checks.
