Well, like I've been saying about my now-infamous alma mater's marching band all weekend, there's no such thing as bad publicity. Go K-State and go CU Times! Perfect timing, as I'm writing a column today. Guess I'll have to write about the trades. Or copyright infringement. Decisions, decisions ... Since you've so graciously given me this stage, I'll take the opportunity to encourage your readers to nominate someone (perhaps our former winner, Jim Blaine?) for CU Times' Trailblazer Awards. http://www.cutimes.com/tag/trailblazer-awards?ref=hp Enjoy your Labor Day, everyone! =)
Perhaps Ms.Anderson could head up the new venture. It would be nice to see someone with vision and common sense heading up at least one of the national associations.Ms. Ito is making a great effort to revitalize a stagnant NASCUS. Having another female CEO at the helm may be what is needed.
Miz Anderson, before you "lawyer up", whatever happened to freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of thought, freedom to make a fool of one's self ??
You and CUTimes are not "changing over" after all these years of journalistic leadership, are you?
Don't tell me you are heading toward becoming the "NCUTA" !?
(Now as a reader noted, that is the unkindest CUT of all!)
Since it might be necessary to "arbitrate" this "infringement thing" with the CUTimes, been thinking about coming out with a parallel CUT annual awards program... Credit Union HellRazors.... a "CUT Above"... whaddayathink?
Miz Anderson would definitely be a nominee - she's pretty sharp! (Even I thought that was awful!)
Speaking of awards, how about instituting the Blaine Lost In The Woods Award? There wood be no struggle to find individuals to nominate. Nussle, Berger, Matz, McKenna, Fazio,Metsger and of course the awards' namesake, Big Jim.

Looks like Mr. Blaine will be renewing his subscription to the Credit Union Times.
