Writes an opinion piece dressing down CU Times for :
1. Having the temerity to ask a Senator if he supports the cu tax exemption.
2.having the temerity to ask him when and where they asked him.
3. Lacking the intelligence to, get this, print an article about the Senator's answer without checking with Cuna or him first.
Do we get that this league president thinks so little of credit unions real needs, what's best for the system, the fundamentals of freedom of the press and that he works FOR CUs and that the Senators work FOR the people?
WE get what WE pay for.
Don't pay anymore.
They're hanging on to the tax exemption (Nafcu, Cuna, leagues) worse than we are but they're BENEFITTING, we are not.
Wake up and move on.

LaPine represents everything the good old boy network is. Full of pompous, self-righteous,grab as much as you can for yourself and to hell with everyone else. He talks out of both sides of his mouth and had his league believing it. He is one of the boys who hoped Cheney would fail and is now wishing the same for Nussle. Your turn is coming buddy boy.
He needs to resign from the CUNA board. We offered him a chance to be on the radio show and he declined. Classic.

Nussle discusses CUNA shortcomings. I think the words bloated and inefficient were used.

they were used and then CUNA media reps said he had mispoke, but not that the words were not applicable.
It is sickening to see the income made by people who do not accomplish results and worse, behave in a manner that is void of what the true mission is and dismiss freedom of the press as if it's unrelated to their cause.
And their cause is clear.
Make money for them, not help CUs.
And it's all of them.
Nafcu, Cuna, leagues.
It's a joke and we are the "butt".

Let's see which of the jelly fish credit union CEO's will will develop enough backbone to say no to both and yes for their members. Anyone want to guess the number that will? Count them on one hand, maybe two?
