You have to ask, who prepared Metsger's remarks. Did he draft them himself or did his assistant Rugway do it? They were not only inaccurate but insulting to many as well. And does Metsger think he is funny? Get a grip Mr. Vice Chairman you are not funny nor are you professional. Perhaps Ducky it's time to paddle your way back to Oregon.
Agency staffers are responsible for protecting their bosses. Maybe they tried and Mr. Metsger didn't listen. Or maybe his staff wrote that unprofessional drivel and he read it all word for word. Regardless, it's Mr. Metsger's responsibility to rise above such immature and stupid verbiage. And that did not happen. Other regulators are never seen operating in this fashion. It's also a good way to get the "stop & study" bill some more momentum. In the land of politics and policy, some play chess and some play checkers.
The chess versus checkers is my line. But right on no matter what. You guys keep the pressure on the tone deaf grown ups and Ill keep on the young Gen Y CUNA zombies who continue to whine that by being right, and being consistent makes me a "cyber-bully."
