Oh My, My...!! Hit The Road Jack?

Really Spewing !

        HOT FLASH !!!

FROM THE CUTIMES:  "As I've said before, it behooves Professor McWatters to step down from his ivory tower, come into the office for more than his typical three days per month and engage in our policy-making process," Matz said.  "Mr. McWatters had ample opportunity to raise any issues about the collective bargaining agreement during the briefings he received over the course of many months, but he chose not to. I look forward to the time when Mr. McWatters raises his concerns with the staff instead of through the press."

"McWatters, however, said his concerns with the Chairman were not personal..." [see entire story here].

Well now, Mr. McWatters may not be taking this personally, but it would appear someone else sure is!
But let's try and be adult about all this, okay?  And, analyze and resolve the problem rationally. There appear to be three obvious options available to greatly improve the performance of the NCUA Board given recent experience:

1).  Mr. McWatters could come in more often.

2).  Ms. Matz could come in less often.

Or perhaps ....

The "sell by" date
has passed!

3.)  Any Board member whose term expires could cut NCUA's continuing losses in credibility and stop coming in at all.

If there is not a change in which party controls the White House, credit unions could face more than two more years of Ms. Matz. Nothing will happen a year before the election.

In US credit unions...
...waiting for an adult to show up.
Even after they retire, we are still subject to the rank cronyism and childish analysis.
Read fryzel in cu journal (or any time for that matter).
Fryzel actually offers an opinion on the meaningless "battle" between Cuna and Nafcu.
As if it mattered.
Even projects that the winner of the battle will have enormous "influence and prestige".
Like you, Mike?
Hey Mike, dial in.
Legislative victories by Cuna and Nafcu since 1998 still = 0.
That's ZERO Mike.

The role of the Chairman is to lead. Somewhere along the way the current Chairman missed that message and therefore there is none.

The current chairwoman uses a wheelchair service every time she visits an airport. Kind of gives you an idea where her head is at. And, a real statement of her "handicap"!

The old adage comes to mind: Lead, follow, or get out of the way!

She is truly a goddess in her own mind.

Jim, you mentioned Credit Union one in Canada in your CUBRODCAST interview. What's the website? Couldn't find on Google. Thanks, Jeff

If you want to see the Central1 video "Some Choices Matter" you can see 6/12/15 post, or go to www.central1.com and click news and events... has contact info, also.

This all evolved out of a challenge to our U.S. "marketeers" to get off their status quo's and "tell our story"... instead of SOS (Same Old Sameold).
Created a bit of a stir! Whirlwind of angst actually.

"Some Choices Matter" may not be the answer, but it's the closest thing I've seen lately...

CUs have a winning message... but it is not getting through...

Wheel chair service = having an employee of the airport wheel your dead ass around in a wheel chair (the airport version) when you are either too lazy or think you need special treatment, such as early boarding at the expense of other folks; presumably those too dumb to game the system and have this great benefit. Has anyone ever seen her needed walking assistance outside an airport?

Either America is really getting old or more folks are catching on to this ploy. How many are being boarded early in wheel chairs only to pop up when they have to hit the head?
