From The Field: Lane Violation

"Driving along in my automobile.."
- Chuck Berry
"Stephen Anderson of Otis Johnson Road, Mt. Pilot was traveling north on Silk Hope Road on February 22, when he ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a road sign. Anderson's vehicle then struck a culvert under a field access road, and was launched airborne. Anderson's vehicle landed 43 feet later and overturned several times, striking two mailboxes.  His vehicle came to rest on its passenger side in a drainage ditch on the right shoulder of Silk Hope Road and caught fire."
Run that by
 me again ?!

"Anderson was cited for Failure To Maintain Lane."

Small town N.C. breaking news! The patrolman may end up winning the Bulwer-Lytton Fiction Contest if he keeps it up!

H-m-m, wonder if it was a dark and stormy night when the lane violation occurred...?

Better story: CUNA, in an effort to cover for scheduling the GAC when the House was not in session now says it's a good thing they will not all be here so that the attendees can concentrate on the few that stayed in town because they had nothing better to do. That is who the award should go to!
