On Giving Credit Unions A Choice...

CUNA's RESPONSE TO CREDIT UNION CHOICE:

"This is difficult for us and may take up to three years..."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NAFCU's RESPONSE TO CREDIT UNION CHOICE:

"NAFCU announces membership open to federally insured, state-chartered credit unions."
One shrewd fox!

"The NAFCU Board made this unanimous decision because our industry is rapidly evolving; and in a changing marketplace, credit unions are seeking more from their advocacy organizations.  We heard that message and are ready to rise to the challenge."

Looks like...

Checkmate NAFCU !!!

Oh, my!

[Someone just rammed an iceberg into the "Titanic"!]

Nafcu is a game changer.

Cuna is a name changer.

What's the choice?

I assume this will be accompanied with a name change? I, for one, always found the separation b/w federal and state trade associations to be superfluous, but what do I know.
Feeling courting yet Professor Blaine?

I will be in Montreal on Friday, but that's probably just coincidental....

GAME CHANGE

The ball is at center court and in the hands of JB.

To the right is the NAFCU basket. To the left is the CUNA basket. He can now go either way.

The shot clock has started.

What direction will he go?

For the first time in his life, I'm guessing he's siding with the right.

Read between the lines. The "shrewd fox" image is a reference to Jim - not NAFCU.
