A Fine Whine....

Well guess we've all had more than enough sips from the glass of wisdom put forth in the NCUA OIG letter to Congressman Darrell Issa - right ?

"My cup (and patience !) runneth over."

But the letter, with all its glaring failings, is vintage NCUA. The Agency, in its actions, is reminiscent of the finest French Beaujolais....

Chateau Marquis 2012

... light,  fruity, and frequently inconsistent;
.... does not improve with age!

         CHEERS !!

What in Bill Cheney's resume make one think that he is up to the challenge. Bill's stock in trade is that of a "Nice Guy"!

What Leo Durocher in 1939 observed about nice guys is true than and today: "Take a look at them. They're all nice guys, but they'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last."

It is time that credit union leaders demanded people that are doers and not "Politically Correct" drains on member money. This has to be done at all levels both the Trades and NCUA.

Wanted to do a "shame, shame", but with ncua it's actually "sham, sham".

Is anyone going to tell Issa and the whole "d%*^" US Congress they've been hood-winked by the grapenuts at ncua. What are we hiking the hill for at GAC.. to show support for these shysters.

Sham(e) on us !

Follow the money. Follow the credit union dues paying card carrying members money.
2011 CUNA CEO/President Bill Cheney: $1,129,651 not including: $172,500 in Deferred Compensation (IRS form 990). One can hardly expect Bill Cheney to get by on salary alone. The Deferred Compensation will help. I think we have the best leadership MONEY CAN BUY. Not! Bill's resume includes serving as a Board of Director on both USCentral FCU & WesCorp FCU. We can all see just how well that served the industry. How do you pronounce: corporate stabilization ASSessments?

So, what are you all going to go do at GAC? Seriously. What's the game plan? Should everyone ask about Issa's redacted letter? Otherwise, it sounds like a bunch of whining all around!

Everyone should send a copy of the letter to Cuna,NASCUS their state rep, their senator and ask what aRe you doing to get an overseer for this rogue agency?

Two points:

1-Cuna couldn't deliver a pizza

2-the AMAC audit proves beyond doubt that the ersatz experts have no clue what to do with cu assets. Virtually every cu is turned over to ncua when liquidation is in order and it is to be done at the least cost to the ins fund. Read the audit. You will be shocked but not surprised!

Read the audit today. It is your duty and responsibility!

Not sure sending letters to these trade associations is going to do much good. They are not representing you.
Your Congressional reps and senators are another matter.
Make your own appointment. Tell your story. They are there because you voted for them!
