ORMAN PULLS THE PLUG ON DECOUPLED DEBIT CARD
(David Morrison - CUTimes 6/17/2014)
"Noted consumer finance celebrity Suze Orman has begun "quietly closing" the Approved Card,.... Orman launched the card to great fanfare in January 2012, on the heels of her appearance in public service spots for the NCUA. The card immediately caused controversy for credit unions, because it was decoupled and charged card holders fees."
Say "goodnight" Suze...
G'night moon, g'night stars, g'night teeth... ! |

Awesome News.
Is the NCUA still using our money to pay her? How did they have the authority in the first place to use our money to pay for advertising like this. I wonder what the process was to decide to use her in this capacity and how it was determined what she was paid? I'm guessing that she doesn't work for free - so did the NCUA ever reveal how much of our money was paid to her?
What is our collective ROI (Return On Investment) on that lovely piece of work? When it comes to pouring money down a rat hole the folks on Duke Street are at the top of their game. And why not. It's the credit union's money all free for them to spend on left leaning wacko causes. And when they run out of money just impose another assessment. The folks on Duke Street have debit cards - they call them credit unions.
Grin and bear it?
Wonder how much they paid the cute twins at the end to drive her point home too.
