NCUA senior officials - who asked to remain anonymous citing FOIA protection - claimed today that "consistency" was not in fact the goal of the Disney World Examiners' Conference at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel and Spa in Orlando , Florida.

"No, no we deny the assertion that consistency is the objective of this conference at The Palace.  Consistency has never been a goal of NCUA under the current leadership and consistency will not be our goal in the future. Besides if NCUA were to announce that we were moving toward consistency in exams; some folks would say that would indicate we were inconsistent in past exams."

NCUA has never acknowledged nor accepted accountability for our lapses in the past and we fully intend to maintain that policy going forward.  Clearly no one can challenge our consistency on that posture!  Our record of denial is firm and unwavering! NCUA's record of operational inconsistency has been consistent and we intend to stand by it!"


"Let's set the record straight.  NCUA is a regulatory agency and as such we are not after consistency here; we're seeking regularity! And here's the outcome we'll all be trying to achieve.

National Credit Union Regularity!

"Regularity will be defined as the easy passage (without straining) of well formed exams (neither too hard nor too soft) occurring at least once a year." NCUA has many seasoned folks who have loads of personality and hands on experience that match up extremely well with this new push.  We intend to flush out any irregularities at credit unions (code name: "IRR") and no laxity in performance (code name: "XLAX") will be tolerated within the Movement going forward."
