Flower Plots...

Of course, I'm not recommending that you actually do anything; we each are responsible for our own actions, our own decisions, our own choices in life.  No matter what you do; it's not my fault, but...

Have you ever considered anonymously sending one of your friends or co-workers a dozen - passionately red - roses to the office, with a card that simply says: "Last night was wonderful!  Love, Sweetness"...

...  and then just quietly biting your lip and waiting to see what happens next?

If you're really mischievous, send the flowers on a day when your friend or co-worker has the day off. Really helps feed the rumor mill when the person isn't there to put up a defense against the smirks and innuendos!  Gossip always "improves" with a little aging and imaginations can run wild by the end of the day.

For the most dramatic results and the most
adamant denials; consider sending the roses to a friend or co-worker who is happily married with three or four kids and who has just reached the pinnacle of "mid-life". Confronts them not only with the element of surprise, the need to deny, but also the question of whether or not to call the spouse and possibly find out the spouse didn't send them... ooooh could get tricky!

And, what about that co-worker (there is always one!) who will simply smile, wink, and .....

Been a little bit bored at work lately.... well then stop and smell the roses....

What you propose is called stirring the pot. What if that co-worker has "something going" with another co-worker and then all of a sudden he or she receives a dozen roses with a lovely card from someone else? He would not be good for the recipient or the friend and it could be hell for the person who sent them if they are identified.

So Dear Abby, unless you are promoting a florist shop that you own on the side, I suggest you put your arrows back in your back pack and leave the nice stuff to Cupid.
