The more things change the more they stay the same. This latest CUNA effort is just like CUNA's Renaissance Commission back in 2001. Self-anointed important people wasting time and resources trying to justify a dwindling need to exist.

"America's Credit Unions" is too inclusive. Some of us, despite noticeable peer pressure, choose not to belong to an organization that creates issues simply to justify it existence.

Going with "93% of America's Credit Unions" is truth in advertising, and will avoid a legal challenge by non-CUNA members.

It's closer to 80% not 93%. That's why CUNA has stopped blabbing about it, or hadn't you noticed?

CUNA is the manifestation of all credit unions and the underlying people managing each and every credit union. (If CUNA is really pathetic, then so are all the credit unions it supposedly represents!)
