I find it interesting that the two major trade organizations each year make a statement about the NCUA budget saying that they oppose any increase. Yet neither of them question in detail the slush fund you refer to or ask if the expenditures are truly justified and legal. Why not? Do they feel a letter or press release is sufficient? Does that cover them with their members? They claim they have skin in the game but their lack of pursuit and effort makes one wonder.

Both trades lack leadership with expertise or cojones.
