"Pssst ... Ya Gone Too Fer !"

A major power outage or:
P-OUT !

About this little matter of gridlock in the halls of Congress, folks 'round here are pretty much unanimous in saying:  " Boys and girls y'all need to slow-up a bit, you've gone too fer !"

And we all know what you get when you take a low brow political drama "too fer"...

A fur low.

The majority needs to put a cork in this non-scents.

You should overjoyed for the shutdown of DC because it slows the concentration of power into the central government! I am very happy because I believe in this piece of wisdom:

And remember, where you have a concentration of power in a few hands, all too frequently men with the mentality of gangsters get control. History has proven that.

Personally I'm most intrigued with the idea of paying non-essential employees in arrears for work they will not be permitted to do...

Lewis Carroll the author of Alice-in-Wonderland would be pleased...

The payment of Federal Employees is do to the fact that we have permitted the development of a class of Nobility in and around Washington, DC. What is really stupid is that Federal employees are going to apply for unemployment benefits that the States have to pay and the Federal Government does not pay into. No mechanism for recover the unemployment payments paid to Federal employees who steal from the private sector for pay that they will not loose! Lewis Carroll's head is spinning. But here is the rest of the story: Trucker are going to drive around the Beltway attempting to stop traffic in the name of a protest about the Constitution this weekend. News Alert: You will not be able to tell the difference on the Beltway because it is always backed up! Lewis just put a gun to his head.

Let's see time off with deferred pay but in the meantime an allowance that you apply for and may or may not have to pay back! Just like the private sector right? Now I want to hear someone say government isn't screwed up.

The bit with unemployment benefits I feel the FEDS should reimburse the states for that. But to say we shouldn't pay those employees' because some idiots in congress can't get their crap together is ludicris. How would you like to not get a paycheck because the government, our elected government, can't get off their can and high horse long enough to ensure our government continues to run as it should. We have a lot of people affected by the government shut down, directly and indirectly. We need to demand from our elected officials that they quit with the BS and work together on a compromise!

When a plant has to shut down because their customers no longer wish to buy their products or there is too much inventory, the workers do not get paid until they go back to work.

There are customers (Taxpayers) who do not want to spend more on government that has been proven to lack judgement. I for one would have no concern for how long the government stay close down if the salaries were not being paid. I only regret that family of soldiers did not get treated properly and the Jack Booted Thugs at the Parks Department spent more on keeping WWII vets out then they normally spend on watching the WWII Memorial. FYI: Credit Union members donated second to Wal-mart the most money to build the WWII Memorial.

Compromise is just code for concede to the Tyranny of the Majority!

I do not know what others may do, but I am all about liberty and if protecting that means shutting down a tyrannical government so be it.

See Jack Welch's comments today about the President having to much power.
