On to Alexandria !!! |
Credit unions actually thought we were listening which will really help our case, when we go ahead and do what ever we want. Wasn't it really cute how they all agreed to sit at little tables and ask only one question! Liked the way they all waved their hands at me begging to be recognized - just adorable !!
But, I need you to be more focused and act more interested for this last "hometown session". It's crucial that you keep up the charade - our ability to "IMCR them" in the future is at stake!
Doesn't she just remind you so much of Suze !!
(Practice that little "chi, chi, chi" sound - OK?!)

The session was a joke can Matz be even more scripted, the whole thing is such a rehearsed production it is an insult. One question per table really she and staff are a joke and we need better leadership at the top and the only way is to keep the political pressure on. We cannot allow her and her queen servants to sneak this through without major changes that helps the industry not kill it.
So? If the queen and her staff are jokes, how come nobody is laughing?
Just another example of an Obama crony ignoring the law and the Constitution.
If Cuna, Nafcu or Navy don't sue on this they are aiding and abetting - lot's of talk no action in the leadership of all three.
CUNA/NAFCU & the State Trade Associations are in bed with the NCUA. Every conference these folks host include prime-MIC time for the 3 village idiots. The trades fleece the credit unions though excessive dues and NCUA does the same by way of assessments. Questions at the Listening Session went unanswered. No follow up. Non-responsive. NCUA has a corner on the market and the credit unions have no options short of a bank charter. As of late the bank charter is looking more attractive.
I was at the LA session, and I have to tell you, it really did sound like NCUA was listening. Trouble is they will listen to some ideas but not others. We have to play "Whack a mole" to see if we hit on one they are open to. I was somewhat encouraged by their candidness (which is scary, given NCUA's track record). We were all a bit apprehensive at the beginning until NCUA showed some amount of humanity regarding the situation. We stuck to constructive comments and I think that helped. Good luck with your meeting today.
