The Federal Budget Simplified
U.S. Tax Revenue: $ 2,170,000,000,000
Federal Budget: $ 3,820,000,000,000
2011 Deficit: $ 1,650,000,000,000
Total Nat'l Deficit: $ 14,271,000,000,000
Recent Budget Cuts: $ 38,500,000,000
Now drop some 000's and make it a family budget:
Annual Family Income: $ 21,700
Annual Family Spending: $ 38,200
New Credit Card Debt: $ 16,500
Total Credit Card Debt: $ 142,710
2012 Planned Family Budget Cuts: $ 385
2012 Planned Add'l Credit Card Debt: $ 16,000
Same plan for 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016,......
The famous ice-hockey player Wayne Gretzky said he succeeded because he learned "not to skate to where the puck was, but to where the puck was going to be."
Economically, guess we all need "to pull a Gretzky" and start practicing our Chinese....
'Cause it's... Pay up or Puck-er Up Time !!! |
