N.C. Sees Red....!!!

Word's out all across N.C. about the inappropriate and unjustified treatment of N.C. state-chartered CU's - and their 2.5 million members - by the NCUA.
A two-party State!
2008
North Carolinians are starting to rethink their view of the current leadership in D.C. whom the State supported by a margin of 50.8% to 49.2% in the 2008 election.

And Credit Union folks are definitely beginning to see red...

A clean sweep!
2012
 But, who cares...

What ?  We have another "#x*@" problem at NCUA?!!?

Mr. President, look forward to seeing you at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte , N.C. in September!

(Again, look for us on the sidewalk out front - just follow the signs!

Well hope certainly springs eternal on that red thing ...

Yep! Jeff Jones and all my other Republican friends... (Okay, okay so I may, at this point, be exaggerating the fact that I have any friends left at all and may, most certainly, be exaggerating the idea that any of them are Republicans!)....are absolutely ecstatic about this unforced error by a Democratic-led Agency. The "soon-to-be majority party" keeps pointing out how helpful all this has been to "the 99% folks" in NC who are mostly CU members. Keep mentioning that this is not the first instance of "forced placed insurance" coming off the Potomac...! They say both ideas are "unhealthy"....

Jeff will probably be writing "Thank You" notes to Mr. Yolles on "RED" letterhead shortly...right.Jeff?

I think it's safe to say there'll be no Thank You notes written on this one ... to anyone. Too many regretable actions and reactions for that. No shortage of errors either ... not all of 'em unforced. And don't forget the wounded ... mostly innocent victims ... a handful of self-inflicted ones.

Helpful to the 99% folks? That's a new one on me. But then much of the "logic" of the "It's Not Fair So Someone's Gotta Pay" crowd escapes me anyway.

But I think you sell yourself short on the friend front, Jim. At least 50% of your friends are in the GOP camp. Pretty sure the other one is a Democrat.

Ouch! Well, guess I'm at least qualified now to work in D.C., 'cause as President Harry Truman so famously said: "If you want a loyal friend in Washington - buy a dog!"

I have three dogs! Also, have a CAMEL, but better not say much more about it or you as a reader may be "arrested" for being informed..... the "SWAT" team ain't local, by the way.

Hermann Hesse was evidently wrong(see blog: 2/4/2012) ... neither knowledge nor wisdom can be communicated in some sectors of our democracy today.

The attached article in the American Banker has the same regulatory concern about the misguided and absoulte power of examiners at the FDIC:
