Haiku For You....

Rocky Mountain High

Blue sky, sharp mountains;
Raw, naked unscheduled time
- A dangerous game.

I don't know what sort of operation you run down there in Raleigh, but it seems like you write about being naked a lot.....

Well, an interesting observation! Would you like to rift on that topic a bit? If so, couple of ground rules 1) first this is a personal blog so don't make the logical misstep of assuming its anything else - more or less; 2) I am a big fan of Vitamen D, but so is John Boehner so it's got to be OK; and 3) don't be shy in responding, you're well protected by your moniker1

Always have felt that "nakedness" was the most powerful image to use when confronting the issue of vulnerability. We all personally understand the unease - perhaps its more an instinctive sense of self-humiliation - which unguarded nakedness can cause. When talking about difficult topics, such as how to confront and overcome our doubts, our fears, our vulnerabilities; it helps to start the dialogue on common ground, at a point of common understanding. We all understand the vulnerability of "being naked".

How do I know? It's Biblical - a first idea, first theme, first lesson - in fact it's in Genesis. They ate and realized they were naked; and were ashamed....

So, Bobble Headed why do you think so many folks are so layered over with "fig leaves" in their work, their personal lives, and in their self masquerade?

Why are we afraid of who we are?

Hope this hasn't made you feel too vulnerable...
