Well, I guess the most recent example would be the April 29,2011 letter from NCUA to Ben Bernanke at the Federal Reserve exhibiting NCUA's cost accounting expertise in relation to debit interchange...
...Or the analysis that the resolution efforts of the Corporates by NCUA "saved us $1.5 billion"...find it hard to be appreciative of that "savings" when writing assessment checks.
Kinda like a serial killer seeking praise for only shooting ten of your eleven kids...
