You would think that there might be one Director out of the CUNA Board that would be willing to stand up and say "enough let’s get our butts back in session and adopt the Dorety report because the credit union's obviously want and should have a choice." No more waffling and passing the buck - here's the problem lets deal with it. Yeah it’s risky but it also is a good way to make sure the organization has the pressure on it to do what it was designed to do. If it means shrinking the organization, If it means becoming more accountable whats wrong with that? Your failing now! If the 5 visionary's that drafted "Advocacy Everywhere" don't like it - tough. If this Board, by it's inaction causes further fractures in the "system" the consequences for credit unions will be dire. You want to be a Director and represent your credit unions - do something preferably the right "something" and quit standing around and letting others make you look bad. No one ever said good Leadership was easy.
I like the League that's going to take this up in their February meeting. I'd be two months into my new trade association relationship by then. What? You don't think the LEADERSHIP DEADLINE isn't 12/31/2015? February is like Obama saying ISIS is under control! Oh, wait now, what's that noise coming out of Paris? Shouts of joy? No failed leadership! He's got lots in common with CUNA.... "extend and pretend" as the old adage goes!
Question- How does CUNA's and your leagues actions show the leadership your dues are going to be paying for??
Would your own board put up with this? I think not!

I agree with Dennis.
